Russia will see $460 mln for gas supplied in the days to come.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Russia will receive $460 mln as payment for gas delivered within the next few days. Today I ordered that this amount be removed from the states coffers and $460 mln be paid Lukashenko told reporters in Minsk Thursday. We certainly tap our reserves, but our good friends, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in particular, announced that his country is prepared to grant a loan on terms favorable for Belarus the Belarusian president noted adding that Western banks are also ready to lend money. He pointed out that Russia offered Belarus an inter-governmental loan at 8.5% interest which, according to him, is inadmissible for Belarus.
