MMK boosted H107 US GAAP net profit 47%

In the first six months of 2007 MMK ramped up its net profit, compiled under US GAAP, by a hefty 47.3% y-o-y. As the Russian metal major said in its semiannual financial statement, first-half sales surged 43.89% to $4 bln and EBITDA spiked 53.5% to $1,205 mln, accounting for 30.13% of sales.
